Mouteea Murad graduated from Damascus University with Fine Arts degree and later got his Diploma in Graphic Design in 2005.  The artist won Second Prize at the Third Young Artists Exhibition, Damascus, Syria in 2002. The following year, Muteea won an Appreciation award for participating in Latakia Biennial and a Designing Prize of the Damascus National Fair Lottery Cards.

The artist participated in the following exhibitions:

2002-2005 Third, fourth and fifth young artists’ exhibitions, and the annual exhibition from in Damascus, Syria. 
2003    Fifth Latakia Biennial in Syria 
2004    Honor of Syrian artist Mamdouh Kashlan – Damascus
2005    Personal exhibition at Ishtar Gallery in Damascus in 2005.
